PlayGrid does not create an account, run product analytics, display advertising, or send game progress to a PlayGrid service.

Local game data

In the Android app, the same records live inside PlayGrid's on-device WebView storage, separate from any browser. The installed app bundles its games and works offline; it does not load the Cloudflare website to play. Android cloud backup and device transfer of app data are disabled. Uninstalling PlayGrid or clearing its app storage removes local records. You can also reset them through PlayGrid's Settings.

Games use versioned local storage in this browser when available. These records are validated but remain unverified and can be edited or cleared through browser tools. They are not accounts, cloud saves, or cross-device records.

• Matchcraft: best move-and-time results for each board size and one unfinished board. The unfinished record contains board size, card order and matched flags, revealed-card positions, moves, active elapsed time, remaining mismatch delay and a save revision. Reloaded boards start paused until you choose Resume.
• Neon Coil: keyboard-layout preference and best spark/step results for each pace. An unfinished run is not saved.
• Prism Break: best stage, score and elapsed-tick results for each pace. An unfinished run is not saved.
• Grid Shift: the board, score, move count, random draw state, up to 32 undo positions, save revision and local best. Continue saved run can restore the saved board.
• Comet Dash: the newest 30 UTC course dates, their seeds, and best distance, cleared-obstacle and elapsed-tick results for each pace. An unfinished run is not saved.

Clearing browser data can remove these records. When storage or coordinated saving is unavailable, games remain playable with page-only results; leaving or reloading may lose those results. Read the game's storage message before relying on a save.

Matchcraft progress is checkpointed after game changes and every five seconds during active play. Closing the page abruptly or waiting for another tab's save lock can lose changes since the last completed write. Blocked, full or uncoordinated storage keeps play session-only; a conflicting tab cannot replace a newer saved board. Notices explain when saving stops.

Matchcraft's new save uses a separate versioned record. Valid older best scores can be imported without changing the old record; older game versions do not see bests earned only in the new version. Unrecognized records are not silently overwritten. Settings can remove both versions after confirmation.

Favourites and recent history

Star buttons save up to 50 favourite game IDs in this browser, without an account or server sync. A successful game launch also adds its ID to a newest-first list of up to 12 recently played games. Visiting a game page does not add it. This is a list of launch links, not proof of resumable progress. No timestamps or personal identifiers are added. When storage or coordinated saving is unavailable, choices work on the current page only. Unsupported saved profile data is left unchanged until you deliberately reset local data in Settings.

Preferences and reset

Sound, motion, contrast and control-hint preferences also use versioned local storage.Settings lets you inspect the number of PlayGrid records and reset preferences, favourites and progress after confirmation. A non-personal reset marker remains so current game tabs cannot restore older saves. This does not remove unrelated browser data. Older preview versions may not understand reset notifications; close those tabs before resetting.

Hosting data

The hosting provider may process ordinary request and security telemetry needed to deliver the static site. Product analytics will remain disabled until an owner approves a minimal event set, retention policy, privacy wording, and operational responsibility.
